The garter is made from a double strap of pink leather with large studs (avoid crossing your legs at all times) at the joints and a large metal heart at the centre. There's an adjustable fabric strap at the back of this piece to allow you to put the garter on and to then tighten it until you're comfortable it won't fall down. The Garter is available in various sizes, each size corresponding to a maximum and minimum circumference of the lower thigh to ensure a snug fit. This piece comes packaged in a lovely little pouch to avoid any damage during shipping with a handmade note from Miss Leung herself to make the whole thing even more darling. 
I really do love this garter, it completely embodies my contrasting styles and sometime in this New Year, i intend to buy another so i don't have to pull either of my socks up ever again. I have, on occasion had the garter loosen as i've been walking and fall down, taking my sock with it, but i tend to walk long distances and wear very heavy, thick knit socks so it hasn't lowered my opinion of this piece.
